When Lonnie and Diane opened their Chicago style eatery in Louisville, they had to change the culture of eating here. In Chicago, the hot dog is 'walking it through the garden.' All the things you might grow in your own garden, cucumber, tomato, relish, onion, peppers, celery salt, are put on the hot dog. Louisville wasn't used to eating cucumbers on a hot dog. Lonnie would often have to offer to "buy it back" if the customer didn't like it, just to get them to try something different. Lonnie hasn't bought one back yet.

Founded in 2005, Amore cafe is a new level of taste in Sacramento. operated by Nader Shirakh, the restaurateur behind Spokane's magnificent Cafe Roma, and Sacramento's luxurious Amadeus.

Chef Bernard was born in Condrieu, France where he gained his appreciation for fresh, tasteful food. At age 13, he became an apprentice charcutier. Over the next several years, Bernard worked with several chefs until becoming an Executive Chef in 1978. In 1987, Chef Bernard opened his own restaurant, Cuistot.

Our mission is to sell hand-made, extremely fresh food, using none of the preservatives, additives or chemicals common to much of the "prepared" and "fast" food on the market today. High quality, genuine Italian food and value for money are the mainstays of our business. Our special recipe Focaccia bread is delivered fresh daily and our pizzas and calzones are made with hand stretched dough, prepared daily.
