Executive Chef Paul Kahan and Chef de Cuisine Brian Huston crafted an eclectic menu inspired by simple farmhouse fare in a space evocative of a European beer hall.

Featuring pork and fish/seafood preparations, the menu is best described by Kahan and Huston as “pristine product, simply prepared,” an approach to food Kahan has long espoused in all of his kitchens.

Named after the royal palace in Bangkok, Jitlada opened in the late ’70s and quickly earned an enthusiastic following among food lovers both Thai and otherwise.

In 2006, Sarintip “Jazz” Singsanong and her brother Suthiporn “Tui” Sungkamee, acquired Jitladala. They left the old menu more or less intact while upgrading the quality of the cooking and also added a sub-menu of about 40 home-style southern Thai specialties.

The name "Vivace", which is a musical term meaning lively, was chosen in an attempt to convey the atmosphere of the restaurant. Our intent is to provide outstanding contemporary Italian food at reasonable prices and service that is knowledgeable, gracious and attentive. To compliment the menu, it seemed logical to offer Italian wines. So, we created a wine list unlike any other in Omaha. We now offer approximately 200 wines, with many unique varieties by the glass as well.

RISTRA strives to capture the simple and powerful spirit of New Mexico through its decor, ambiance and cuisine. Housed in a historical Victorian, Ristra's cuisine mixes the flavors of France and the Southwest in an elegant setting.

Ristra is a 5-minute walk from the downtown plaza. For private parties, we offer the choice of a private dining room or our patio setting.
