In 1977, Taste of Texas opened on the back side of Town and Country Village. We became the first restaurant in Texas to serve Certified Angus Beef in 1984. A year later, we dropped Chicken Fried Steaks and shifted our entire focus on excellence in steaks.

Gene & Georgetti was founded in 1941 by Gene Michelotti and his partner Alfredo Federighi, who was nicknamed “Georgetti” after a famous Italian cyclist. Located in the heart of River North, Gene & Georgetti is Chicago’s oldest and one of its finest steakhouses. Partners Gene and “Georgetti” worked hand in hand to establish the reputation of excellence that is continued through today.

KIKU emerged from Sushi Gen, a popular Tokyo sushi bar. KIKU's owners migrated to Pittsburgh in 1983, and were one of the first restaurants to serve sushi in Pittsburgh. KIKU, which was designed to resemble a tea house, has been serving authentic, top quality Japanese cuisine since.

For the last 10 years Tamarind has been a local landmark for the city. In 2002, Tamarind Seed had found worldwide recognition. As one of the current master’s champion Vijay Singh hosted its annual Champion’s dinner in Augusta Georgia. As a big fan of Nan’s cooking, he requested Tamarind Seed to create a menu to be remembered which catered to all of the existing Master’s Champions such as Jack Nicholas, Arnold Palmer, and Tiger Woods. Tamarind to us is more than just business, it is a family. We take pride in what we do, and deeply devoted to the essence of tradition and taste.
