Joe Kaplan at Joe’s Garage has recreated the all-American burger by using pork. The Asian pork burger includes garlic, ginger, soy sauce, garlic chili paste and fresh mint. Toppings consist of roasted red pepper sauce and Japanese coleslaw.
Joe's menu also includes pastas and risottos with “build-your-own” toppings such as grilled chicken, salmon or shrimp; and daily specials such as “a grilled grouper over basmati rice, topped with grilled eggplant and a lively red and yellow pepper salsa.

When Standard Tap opened its doors in December 1999, our goal was simple: to create a neighborhood tavern that featured great beer and wholesome food. With that in mind, we offer a draft-only beer selection that highlights the vast array of styles crafted by breweries located in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. Our food menu both complements the beer and expands the notion of what pub food can be. We use only the best available produce, poultry, meats and seafood — much of it from area farms and local vendors – to create fresh, seasonal dishes.

Having moved here from Kona, Hawaii to open Island Style Cafe in August 2008, Juan("the Dad") brings his 15 years of culinary experience, over 10 with the Five Diamond Four Seasons Resort-Hualalai. Along with Terri ("the Mom"), their 3 teens and some favorite family recipes, together they bring you true island flavors with a gourmet touch.

Everyday is Ice Cream Day!
We make our own shakes the way they were made when your mom and dad were kids. You'll love our hand made waffle cones rolled in front of your eyes! We often bring the waffle maker outside so you can watch from the car. Kids love it! The ice cream we scoop onto our cones, sodas & sundaes is the creamiest.
See our barbecue in the making,
A little burger shack in the corner of a gas station lot. Double cheeseburgers are very popular. They offer bags of chips instead of fries. Cheese-dogs and chicken sandwiches are also available.
Our patties are made from hormone and antibiotic free beef and we grind the meat, in- house, daily.
Our buns are made from scratch and baked fresh every morning and evening.
Our fries are handcut from select Kennebec potatoes.
Our Sips for Grown Folks feature fresh squeezed citrus, cordials made from the rinds of those squeezed fruits, syrups made with cane sugar and all natural juices.
Our bar is stocked with a large selection of local and organic spirits.
Our draught beers come from local, small batch, artisanal brewers.
Tues-Sat: 10:30am-Midnight ; Sun: 10:00am-9pm (ish) ; CLOSED MONDAYS
"Fred's Texas Cafe in Fort Worth is the kind of place you take that new boyfriend or girlfriend to see if they can deal with it. If they can, they're a keeper. It's a complete dive, but the burgers are wonderful. The specialty is the Diablo Burger topped with chopped chipotle chiles, grilled onions and Swiss cheese. If you're really tough, you get some fresh-sliced jalapeños on top. Recommended by June Naylor, food writer and operator of Texas Toast Culinary Tours"
