ching ching CHA is a Chinese teahouse in Georgetown, Washington DC established in 1998. CHA is the Chinese word for tea, and Ching Ching is the founder of the tea house.
Twenty-six years of serving the same neighborhood consistent and tasty American face, providing a friendly bar, and adding a “unique flair” has combined to made Dan Thomas’ Mission Hills restaurant a big time local favorite.

Gene and Jay Potchana opened Royal Thai in July of 1992 for many reasons, but mostly their mutual love of authentic Thai food. Jay used many of his mother's recipes and fused them with other culinary instincts from the streets of Thailand. This led Royal Thai to become a neighborhood favorite in Dallas Texas, at a time when Thai food was relatively unknown.

In 1918 Giovanni Tacconelli came to Philadelphia from Italy. After a few years working as a laborer, he decided to do what he had done in his native Italy. "Bake Bread". The best and only way, he said, was to bake it in a brick oven. So along with a few of his friends he built his 20' by 20' brick oven.
