What has originally been but an idea in a single man's head in the year 2000 has blossomed into what is now known as Sushi Cafe.

At the corner of Freeport and Sutterville in the heart of Land Park, finding good sushi is but a short walk or drive away. If we have it here, we will gladly go out of our way to do it to your liking.

We offer friendly and attentive service along with spicy, flavorful dishes that follow the traditions of Ethiopian dining. You can enjoy the famed honey wine, Tej, which Ethiopians often make themselves, with its unique taste that complements the spices in the food.

The Vallejos Family opened (“Vallejo’s Deli”) in August of 1983. It started on the bottom floor of an old Grocery store that had gone out of business. The front page of our menu has the image of that old building where the “Deli” began. They started the Deli with their own Mamacita’s recipes. Recipes gathered over many years, from all the different regions of old Mexico. Over the years new menu items and new recipes have been added to that original Menu.

In August 2002, Chef William Rolle opened Cafe Rolle, a quaint café and delicatessen on H Street in East Sacramento. His mission was to provide Sacramentans with authentic, flavorful and exciting French eats in a traditional and pleasant ambience.
