Chile Bomba serves up traditional Mexican street eats, homespun recipes and Tex-Mex standouts daily on Hillsborough St. across from N.C. State.

The menu is a compilation of our favorite selections with savory tweaks and updates from our chef, our own mother’s recipes and the addition of a few delicious items we simply craved like our take on Jalapeño hushpuppies.

Locally owned and operated, we started in 2004 with a simple philosophy, to provide honest, high quality food at a reasonable price. Amedeo ‘Dick’ DeAngelis came to NCSU from the family home in Reading, PA in 1954 on a football scholarship. He missed home cooking and got the idea of opening a small restaurant featuring some of his mother’s and grandmother’s homemade Italian recipes.

The Boylan Bridge Brewpub has a bright and open atmosphere conducive to conversation, business, and social interaction. The architectural millwork and cabinetwork built downstairs in the shop has made the Bridge a beautiful, durable facility using fine woods, ceramic tile, and canvas covered tackboard on the walls.
