Since 1853, El Dorado Brewing Company operated in California's Central Valley providing beer for the local residents of San Joaquin county. In 1994, Kellie Jacobs re-established the operations under the name of Valley Brewing Company Inc. and set out to build Valley Brewing Company into the premier brewery that operated in years past.

For many years I've thought about building a place where I could display some of my mementos and traveling experiences, where I could play some music and invite my friends in the business to share their music with us. As I traveled the world, I worked in and visited many museums, theaters, restaurants and honkytonks, as well as performed at The White House, Empire State Building and Carnegie Hall... and slowly a picture developed in my mind... a picture that finally evolved into the Crystal Palace.

Stoneground, Family-owned by New York transplants Robert McCarthy and his cousin Paul O’Connor opened Stoneground in June of 2000. Paul a recent graduate from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York and Robert decided the best food was “home” food. Our menu items keep your health in mind for you, so you don't have to- we don't fake at being healthy, we ARE. We don't add MSG to our dishes and minimized the oil/sugar/salt content.
